From the Maghreb region alone, the DAAD has been funding 27 projects from various subject areas since 2022.

The aim of the program is to promote cooperation and knowledge exchange between universities and non-university actors from Tunisia, Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq, as well as other Arab countries and Germany. Funding is available for preliminary trips, exchanges of students and educators, digital events, and the development of concepts.

  • May 30th, 2025, for measures between September 1st, and December 31st, 2025.

Please note: There is a processing time of at least 3 months after the application deadline.
